History

Geneviva Schools was founded with a simple but powerful vision: to create a learning environment where every child can grow, excel, and discover their full potential. What began in 2011 as a small primary school with big dreams has grown into a respected educational institution known for excellence, discipline, and exceptional student achievement.

With the success of our primary section and the increasing demand from parents who believed in our mission, we expanded to establish our secondary school in 2014. Since then, Geneviva Secondary School has continued the legacy of quality education and strong moral values that define us.

Over the years, our students have delivered outstanding results, particularly in the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC), where we have consistently recorded excellent performances year after year. These achievements stand as testimony to our dedicated staff, our structured academic system, and our unwavering commitment to excellence.

Beyond the classroom, our learners have shone brilliantly in various competitions at local, regional, and national levels. From the Nigeria Spelling Bee to the Humphrey Empire Quiz Competition, from inter-house sports festivals to creative and academic contests, Geneviva students have distinguished themselves through talent, confidence, and hard work.

One of the aspects we are most proud of is what we fondly call our “one-week touch.” Every child who walks through our gates experiences remarkable academic improvement within their first week. This unique impact comes from our personalized teaching approach, supportive environment, and the passion our teachers bring to every lesson.

Today, Geneviva Schools stands as a beacon of educational excellence—a place where children are nurtured academically, morally, and socially. Our journey continues with the same commitment that started it all: to raise confident, intelligent, disciplined, and future-ready learners who will make a difference wherever they go.
